The Insights card is a small dashboard about your own use. All of it is computed in your browser.

The numbers

  • Total. Time the extension was actively running, since you started.
  • Last seven days. One bar per day, with today highlighted.
  • Away covered. The portion of that time when you weren't at the keyboard. This is measured with the browser's own idle signal, so the extension's simulated activity doesn't count as you being there.
  • Sessions. How many times you started it.
  • Streak. Consecutive days with at least one session.

What isn't counted

If the extension was paused or Chrome was closed, that time is left out. The aim is a figure you can trust rather than a flattering one.

Is it worth it for you?

Look at "away covered" over a typical month. If it shows hours in which a download, an upload or a web session would otherwise have stalled, the extension is doing its job. If it's near zero, you probably don't need it every day, and the free trial is a good way to check.
