Terms of Service

These Terms apply to your use of the Windows Mouse Mover website and Chrome extension (the "Service"). Creating an account, downloading or using the Service means you accept these Terms. If you don't accept them, please don't use the Service.
The Service
Windows Mouse Mover simulates small amounts of activity in your browser so that the web apps you have open register you as active. It is a convenience tool. You are responsible for using it in line with your employer's policies and any agreements that bind you. We supply the tool, and how you use it is up to you.
Accounts
- You must give accurate information and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- Your activation key is licensed to you alone. Sharing, reselling or distributing it is not allowed and may lead to the key being deactivated.
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
Trial, billing and subscriptions
- The Chrome extension includes a free one-hour trial that needs no payment details. A paid subscription starts only when you subscribe, and renews each billing period until you cancel.
- Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis, monthly or annually, through Stripe until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time from your account page. Cancelling stops future charges, and your access continues to the end of the current billing period.
- The extension needs an active subscription to run. If your subscription lapses, is refunded or is charged back, your activation key becomes inactive.
Price changes
We may change our prices at any time. For existing subscribers, a change applies from your next billing period after it is made. Where the law requires, we will give you advance notice by email. If you don't agree to a new price, you can cancel before it takes effect. Staying subscribed after a price change means you accept the new price.
Referral program
- A friend who subscribes through your invite link gets their first 30 days free. A card is required, and they're charged when the free month ends unless they cancel first.
- The free month is for new subscribers only and is limited to one per person and per payment card. If the card used has had a free trial or subscription before, the subscription starts as a normal paid one.
- When an invited friend pays for their first month, the person who invited them gets one month's subscription price as credit on their next bill. Credit is only given to active subscribers, is capped at 12 free months in any 12-month period, has no cash value, and can't be transferred.
- Inviting yourself (for example through another email address or the same card) doesn't earn credit. We may withhold or reverse credit and end invite trials that we reasonably believe were obtained through misuse, and we may change or end the program at any time.
Refunds
The free trial lets you evaluate the Service in full before paying, so charges are generally non-refundable unless the law says otherwise. If something has gone wrong, write to hello@windowsmousemover.com and we'll try to put it right.
Acceptable use
Don't use the Service to break the law, infringe other people's rights, reverse-engineer or resell the software, get around licensing, or disrupt our systems. We may suspend or end accounts that break these Terms.
Intellectual property
We own the Service, including its software, design and branding, and the law protects it. While your subscription is active, we grant you a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use it. You receive no other rights.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", with no warranties of any kind. We don't promise that it will keep any particular status app showing you as active, that it will run without interruption or errors, or that it works with every system or third-party policy. You use it at your own risk.
Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from using, or being unable to use, the Service, including consequences with an employer or other third party. Our total liability for any claim is capped at what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending your use
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should continue, such as intellectual property, disclaimers and the limit of liability, remain in force after termination.
Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
